By booking and/or making payment for the use of a hairdressing space within the La Silla Compartida coworking space, the user (hereinafter referred to as “THE TENANT”) declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these General Terms of Use.

1. PURPOSE

​

This document governs the temporary use of a hairdressing space made available by La Silla Compartida (hereinafter referred to as “THE LANDLORD”), located at Carrer del Príncep Jordi 16, 08014 Barcelona, for the sole purpose of carrying out professional activities exclusively related to hairdressing.

 

2. INCLUDED EQUIPMENT

 

Each reservation includes access to a space equipped with:

• 1 hairdressing chair

• 1 full-length mirror

• 1 side table

• Electrical outlets

• 1 stool

• 1 shampoo basin

• Clean towels

• Shampoo

• Hairdressing capes

• Coffee or herbal tea offered to the tenant

 

All equipment must be used with care and returned in good condition. Improper use may result in additional charges.

 

3. TOOLS AND PRODUCTS

 

The tenant must use their own professional tools and products, such as:
hair dryer, straightener, scissors, hair color products, treatments, etc.
The landlord does not provide any personal equipment or cosmetic products.

 

4. CLIENTS AND PAYMENT MANAGEMENT

 

The tenant is solely responsible for the commercial relationship with their clients.
All payments for services provided must be made directly between the tenant and the final client.
The landlord does not intervene in any way in the management, invoicing, collection, or quality of the services provided.

 

5. USE AND RETURN OF THE SPACE

 

The space must be returned in the same state of cleanliness and order as upon arrival.
At the end of each working day, the tenant must complete the mandatory cleaning checklist:

 

CLEANING CHECKLIST

✅ Clean the chair and mirror
✅ Clean the shampoo basin
✅ Place used towels in the designated basket
✅ Empty trash bins and dispose of waste (hair, packaging, etc.)
✅ Clean the side table and stool
✅ Disinfect personal tools and surfaces
✅ Sweep the floor to remove hair
✅ Remove personal belongings
✅ Turn off lights and unplug electrical appliances (if applicable)

Failure to comply with these obligations may result in additional cleaning fees or restrictions on future bookings.

 

6. CANCELLATIONS

​

• Cancellation made at least 24 hours in advance: possibility to reschedule without penalty.

• Cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance or tenant no-show: non-refundable and non-reschedulable.

 

Any refund or exception will be assessed at the landlord’s discretion.

 

7. LEGAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE TENANT

 

By booking and using the space, the tenant declares, under their own responsibility, that:

• They are registered as a self-employed worker and authorized to carry out hairdressing activities.

• They are registered with the relevant tax authority.

• They hold valid professional civil liability insurance covering their activity.

 

The landlord may request copies of these documents at any time.
Any false declaration may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.

 

8. LIABILITY

 

The landlord shall not be held responsible for theft, loss, personal injury, or material damage occurring during the use of the space.
The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the premises, equipment, their clients, or third parties.
The landlord assumes no responsibility for disputes or conflicts between the tenant and their clients.

 

9. JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

 

These General Terms are governed by the laws in force in Spain.
The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.

 

10. ACCEPTANCE

 

By completing the reservation and/or making payment, the tenant expressly and fully accepts these General Terms of Use.
